Songwriter-player-producer Andy Lewis is introduced to Judy Dyble, erstwhile vocalist with folk luminaries Fairport Convention and proto-King Crimson founder who, after a somewhat extended stay out of music has been been making a low-key, experimental return.
The brilliant Big Big Train album 'Grimspound', on which I sing a duet on the song 'The Ivy Gate' with the wonderful David Longdon, was released 5 days ago and is currently at no 30 in the Official Chart Co's Midweek Album Chart. Which is lovely
Big Big Train are a hugely talented band and I am honoured to have sung for them

First Acts Announced for Cropredy 2017!
Updated: 09-12-2016
We are thrilled to announce the first artists booked for Fairport's Cropredy Convention 10-12 August 2017.
Yesterday, the 9th Dec 2016, I took two trains and a bus down to Aubitt studios in Southampton where I was met by three members of Big Big Train, David Longdon, Greg Spawton and Andy Manners and the Man of the Studio Rob Aubrey, all of whom were charming and very kind.
To sing one of the songs with David, destined to be on their next studio album was a wonderful thing and I hope I did it justice.
Then I went home on two more trains and another bus. It was a lovely day :-)
This is my autobiography. Well sort of. It's what I remember with extra odd stuff. And it is mostly the result of saying yes to things throughout my life. I am still saying yes. So far. So good
